The Arkansas state capitol and the home of the delta blues were named two of the 15 most dangerous places in America recently in a report based on FBI statistics.

Memphis, Tenn., a shopping destination for many in east Arkansas and home to the primary airport for the region, came in at eighth place while Little Rock came in at 13th.

At least one other city in the greater Mississippi River delta ranked in the top 15 – St. Louis, pegged number one a year ago in this report, is now at number two.
